Bryan Construction breaks ground on CSU museum

108696481Colorado Springs-based contractor Bryan Construction Inc. broke ground last week on a remodel and expansion of the Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.

The project will include a remodel of the current 8,000-square-foot textile museum and a 10,000-square-foot expansion, according to a Bryan news release.

The expansion will make room for the addition of two galleries, classroom and seminar space, a conservation laboratory, and more collection storage and management areas.

“Our team is very excited to again partner with the folks at Colorado State University and are honored to play a role in bringing the vision of the College and Department to life on such a significant project for the University and overall community,” Todd Blanks, executive manager of the Bryan’s Fort Collins office, said in the release.

“We’ve developed a great relationship over the years, and look forward to many more to come.”

Bryan has completed a number of construction contracts at CSU, as well as projects at the U.S. Air Force Academy, the University of Colorado – Boulder, UCCS, Colorado College, Pikes Peak Community College, Aims Community College and Pueblo Community College.
