Parks and Wildlife to meet in Denver

The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission is scheduled to meet in Denver Thursday and Friday to determine park pass and property rules for 2014, according to a news release.

The conference will be at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Hunter Education Classroom at 6060 Broadway and will also include discussions on water management, landowner voucher changes and changes in big game season structure, the release said.

While the event is targeted toward Parks and Wildlife commissioners, the meetings are free and open to the public. It is scheduled begin at 8:30 a.m. March 6 and will adjourn before noon March 7.

The Commission meets each month in a different venue in the state and is planning 2014 events in Salida, Grand Junction, Alamosa, Meeker, Fort Collins, Glenwood Springs, Burlington and Colorado Springs, according to the release.
