Wine festival to benefit the Conservatory

The 23rd annual Wine Festival of Colorado Springs to benefit the Colorado Springs Conservatory will be held March 6-8.

Seminars include food and wine pairing, organic wine, wine tasting with a market auction and a gourmet winemaker dinner and live auction.

The theme is wines with a conscience: biodynamic, organic and sustainable wines.

The luncheon seminar is themed a farm to table experience and takes place Friday at noon at the Manitou Art Center.

Friday night at the Broadmoor the topic is biodynamic, organic, sustainable wines and what the terms mean. Taste with a panel of winemakers as they explain vineyard practices.

The gourmet wine dinner and live auction takes place Saturday night at Garden of the Gods Club. The evening begins with a dinner, and each course is paired with wines.
