Epicentral Coworking in downtown Colorado Springs is going through some changes, which its owners announced Monday in a blog post on the company’s website.

The post announced that the business will soon move from its current location at 409 N. Tejon St. to 415 N. Tejon St., a property that was purchased by co-owner Lisa Tessarowicz on March 21. The company also announced that Hannah Parsons, who cofounded the company with Tessarowicz in 2011, will step down as co-owner on April 30.

Tessarowicz will carry on as Epicentral’s sole owner and operator, according to the post.

“We are proud of the progress we’ve made and this is the next step for both of us in our personal and professional development,” the owners wrote. “Hannah isn’t going anywhere; you’ll likely still see her around the space as she begins the process of deciding ‘what’s next.’ ”

As for the company’s relocation: The release stated that “demolition of the interior has begun and we hope to move into out new space in mid to late June.”

According to records from the El Paso County Assessor’s office, Tessarowicz purchased the property at 415 N. Tejon St. last month for $1.1 million under limited liability company Lemosho LLC. Records indicate that the 9,850-square-foot building was constructed in 1957 and originally served as a retail store.

“At Epicentral Coworking we ask our members and our community to take risks, to embrace change, and to invest in themselves and their communities,” according to the post. “We demand the same of ourselves.”
