Fine Arts Center hires Hannan for new position

Hannan_Erin3039The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center announced Wednesday that Erin Hannan will serve as the organization’s first executive director of advancement and external affairs.

The FAC Board of Trustees announced in a news release that Hannan will fill the newly created position beginning April 28.

“Erin’s marketing expertise, coupled with her institutional knowledge of both the community and the FAC, will be invaluable to the FAC as we move forward,” Interim President and CEO Nechie Hall said in the release.

As executive director of advancement and external affairs, Hannan will oversee development, membership, grants, advertising and communications, partnerships and sponsors and venue sales.

Hannan has worked as communications and outreach director for the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency in Colorado Springs since … At the USADA, Hannan was in charge of branding, media and public relations, marketing and community outreach. She has also served on the FAC Board of Trustees and spent five years working as the Center’s director of marketing and public relations.

“I am so thrilled to come home to the Fine Arts Center and help advance the mission of this amazing community treasure,” Hannan said in the announcement. “It is incredibly gratifying to be a part of an organization that has been such an integral contributor to this city’s cultural pulse for so many decades.”
