Strewler Hodges, CASA celebrate 25 years
Trudy Strewler Hodges celebrated 25 years working for the Court Appointed Special Advocates of the Pikes Peak Region Wednesday. Now executive director, Hodges manages 32 employees, 300 volunteers and a $1.9 million budget. CASA has served more than 10,000 children.
Customers satisfied at La-Z-Boy Furniture
La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores recognized the owners and operators of its top-performing stores at an awards ceremony recently. The Customer Service Excellence award was given to Jim Hendren and the Colorado Springs team for achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction in the La-Z-Boy system across North America.
Delta wins federal nod
Delta Solutions & Strategies received a place on the federal General Services Administration 10-year, multi-billion-dollar professional services contract known as One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Small Business (SB). A requirement is that Delta conduct a minimum of $20 million over the life of the contract.
Palmer Land Trust Executive Director Scott Campbell was awarded a distinguished fellowship at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. He is one of nine persons selected to become a 2014-2015 Harvard Loeb Fellow. Campbell will leave the Land Trust later this year.
Kesselring earns certification
Kristina Kesselring, CPA, has earned the personal financial specialist (PFS) certification from the American Institute of CPAs. Kesselring, who works at BKD CPAs and Advisors, has 16 years public accounting experience and is a graduate of Colorado State University Pueblo with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting.
