First Choice Emergency Room opened its new Woodmen center last week. The emergency room is First Choice Emergency Room’s 33rd center and the second in Colorado Springs.
The new emergency room is located at 3790 E. Woodmen Road and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“We have an experienced medical team committed to providing high quality care to the Colorado Springs community,” said Dr. Matthew Chase, medical director of First Choice Emergency Room, Colorado Springs-Woodmen.
To celebrate the opening, First Choice Emergency Room made a donation to Rampart High School. The Rampart High School band accepted the donation at First Choice Emergency Room’s ribbon cutting with the Colorado Springs Business Alliance. Following the ribbon cutting, First Choice Emergency Room hosted a medical community open house.
First Choice Emergency Rooms are equipped with a full radiology suite, including CT scanner, digital X-ray, ultrasound as well as onsite laboratories certified by the Clinical Laboratory Improvements Amendments and accredited by the Commission on Office Laboratories Accreditation. The emergency rooms are staffed exclusively with board-certified physicians and emergency trained registered nurses.
