hospicePikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care is warning people of a phone scam.

A bereaved client contacted the hospice about a phone survey allegedly on hospice’s behalf. The caller asked for a credit card number to process a survey. The client did not provide the information, and instead, contacted hospice.

If you receive a call requesting any personal or financial information, please do not provide any information, and ask for a call-back number,” said President and CEO Martha Barton. “Legitimate businesses do not ask for this information via phone and any calls of this nature are likely a phone scam and should be reported to CSPD.”
