Springs broker involved with $5.2 million Pueblo deal

Ron Spraggins, founder and CEO of Commonwealth, Colorado Springs’ oldest apartment brokerage and research firm, announced the sale of Pueblo’s Belmont Square Apartments to a large buyer from Chicago for $5.2 million.

The Spraggins team represented both the buyer and the seller in the sale of the 138 unit complex.

The apartments are located south of Highway 50 on Jerry Murphy Boulevard near Colorado State University-Pueblo.

The complex was constructed in 1972 and contains a recreation center, clubhouse, heated pool, basketball court and elevators in each of the three buildings.

The buyers are an LLC, which is made up of investors from Chicago.
