After 18 years of dedicated service to Peak Vista Community Health Centers (Peak Vista) and Peak Vista Community Health Centers Foundation (PV Foundation), BJ Scott, executive director of PV Foundation, has announced a plan to retire Dec. 31.
Throughout her tenure Scott served in various roles, including ten years as Peak Vista president & CEO from 2001 – 2011.
“It has been an honor and privilege to serve Peak Vista’s patients, staff and boards of directors through the years,” said Scott. “The support provided by this great community inspired me every day.”
PV Foundation, the fundraising arm of Peak Vista, plays a large role ensuring people have access to quality health care by raising financial support for programs and services.
“We appreciate all the work BJ has done for Peak Vista patients, staff and the community she loves,” shared Peak Vista President and CEO Pam McManus. “BJ is well recognized both internally and in the community as a dedicated health care advocate. Her expertise and passion for the mission of Peak Vista is truly remarkable.”
Scott’s retirement is timed to occur after PV Foundation’s signature event, Breakfast of Champions, which Scott launched a decade ago.
“We will miss BJ, and appreciate all the years she gave in service of Peak Vista. We could not be more pleased to support her retirement and look forward to continuing to work with her in the local philanthropic arena,” said PV Foundation Board Chair Loren George.
