North Colorado Springs Rotary honors Nordhausen as outstanding member

The North Colorado Springs Rotary Club presented Lloyd Nordhausen with the William L. Smith Award (Outstanding Rotarian of the Year) for 2013-2014. Nordhausen, a Rotarian since 1991, was recognized for his organization and quiet attention to detail. His persistence and dedication have helped the North Colorado Springs Rotary Club to successfully fund projects of local and international scope. Since joining the North Colorado Springs Rotary Club in 2008, he has served as club secretary, president elect and club president. He’s also served for two years as chair of the Rotary International Foundation.

Aguilar recognized by Rotary Club

Jason Aguilar was awarded Rotarian of the Year by the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs. The purpose of this award is to recognize an individual Rotarian who has demonstrated exemplary service to the Rotary Club in the previous year. Aguilar, a network infrastructure engineer, is president and owner of StealthCom Solutions. Aguilar entered the world of telecommunications with no experience, digging trenches and pulling cable.

Urban Peak breakfast fares well

The 2014 Off The Street Breakfast for Urban Peak Colorado Springs raised $68,668 in total contributions and sponsorships this year.
