Colorado Springs Health Partners has received the Certified Urgent Care designation for both of its urgent care locations, distinguishing them as true urgent care centers. The clinics provide patients with walk-in, extended-hour medical attention with licensed providers for a large scope of medical conditions and have met all of the Urgent Care Association of America’s established criteria.
Urgent care is a convenient and viable option for medical conditions that cannot wait for a scheduled appointment with a primary care physician. CSHP accepts unscheduled, walk-in patients Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.; and Sunday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at 1633 Medical Center Point and 600 S. 21st Street in the Roundhouse building. As a multi-specialty practice, CSHP also has easy access to a wide array of diagnostic and specialty services to more conveniently meet patient needs.
When a medical condition cannot be handled by a patient’s regular doctor — such as unexpected cuts, burns, sprains or fractures that do not require a visit to the emergency department, both CSHP Urgent Care locations are equipped with X-ray, laboratory services and a licensed provider is always available to perform minor procedures like casting and suturing.
Urgent care fills the gap between primary care and hospital emergency rooms, offering increased convenience and cost savings. CSHP’s Urgent Care Clinics are part of the integrated care coordination model for which they have received national recognition.
