A Knight at the Fine Arts Center, a Gala for the Ages is a unique and exciting event that supports culture and commerce in Colorado Springs.
The action will include swordplay, herald trumpet calls, jesters, a gourmet feast, fire eaters and more on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the Fine Arts Center.
The evening is the Fine Arts Center’s most important fundraising event. It launches the 2014-15 programming, which includes shows, exhibitions and classes.
The gala grand honoree is Nechie Hall. Hall stepped into the role of interim CEO in December 2013.
The gala ticket is $175. A patron gala ticket is $225.
For those with gala tickets, $100 more will gain entrance to the collector’s reception on Friday, Sept. 12. These tickets have limited availability. The collector’s reception is held in the home of Kathy Loo and Jim Raughton. Guests will tour the hosts’ private collection, meet the FAC’s new CEO David Dahlin and have the opportunity to bid on art created during the course of the evening by invited artists Douglas Rouse, Dennis Rhoades and Jean Pierre DeBernay.
Patron gala table sponsorship is $2,500, which includes a table of ten and signage on your table. Interested persons in sponsoring a table are asked to contact the development office, email Jill Gregory or call 477-4319.
