Rain, Rain Go Away - League Plays Anyway

The current weather conditions at Kissing Camels are; 45 degrees with the wind out of the south at 12 mph.
Bring your foul weather gear. Rain and cold are not daunting for the fearless corporate golf leaguers. Some of you are calling trying to wimp-out. No-shows will be chastised and made fun of.
Those of you that have a knack for losing your clubs in wet weather may want to think of some sticky-tape.

I specifically wore my wool sweater from Scotland for today.
Lon, I’m glad to hear you’re not giving into the pressure of those sissy boys who want out of their commitment to golf today. Golf in this kind of weather builds character and separates men from boys.

That’s right Matt. To be political correct we must also include “seperates the women from the girls.” The commissioner will be allowed to wear a fleece this afternoon.

What is all this talk of “Too Cold, Too Wet!” Ha, this is the weather that golf was born it, if you can’t handle the mist, get off da links! Ye fair weather floggers. As they say in the West, “Cowboy up!” We are in the west aren’t we?

Yes O’kelly ye geographically challenged leaguer we are in the west. Though cowboy boots and hats are not considered business attire.

Ok, go ahead and call me a wimp. I live here for the 300+ days of sunshine we get every year. The other 60 days crappy, Seattle weather always seem to come on certain Wednesdays during a certain golf league. We could take this show to drought ridden places and make a fortune as rain-makers.

We will be playing, reports are good from GOG club. Dinner will be served either way. Rain doesn’t bother us…lightning does. The sun is coming out as I type this. No worries on Corporate Golf League day!
