2010 Rules
The golf league is a scramble format
Each team consists of an A, B, C, and D player
- Each players tee shot must be used at least once each night. Scorecards must reflect this.
- Pick the shot you want and all players will hit from there.
- Ball may be placed two CLUBHEAD lengths from its original position, no nearer to the hole.
- Women play from the “ladies tees”
Each player will carry their weekly team score with them from week to week.
- If your team scores -5 this week, and +2 next week…your overall score is now -3.
- In the event of a tie we will match cards.
- You may have a substitute replace you if you are unable to play. Their score will count towards your overall score.
- If you do not show up and do not have a substitute, you will not receive a score for that week.
Mulligans ($5 each – all proceeds donated to charity of the groups choice)
- Each player may purchase up to two mulligans per week, to be used anywhere on the course, for that night only.
- Mulligans may only be used ONE time and must be used by the PURCHASER.
Sending a Substitute
If you are unable to play you may have a substitute replace you. Their score will count towards your overall score.
Do not send a substitute unannounced. Foursomes have to be rearranged every time there is a sub and sending one without advance notice will mean a delay in our 4 p.m. shotgun.
If you will have a sub and know in advance send me this information at least 3 days before, or the Monday before they will sub…

- Handicap (this is the most important)
- Phone #
If you suddenly can’t make a night and choose a sub the same day of the league or less than 3 days in advance … call me as soon as possible! All scorecards will have to be reprinted and foursomes rearranged.

To be eligible for a prize on the final night no more than two of your scores can be from a substitute player.
Before the final night we will drop everyone’s HIGHEST and LOWEST scores …
after this has been done we’ll post everyone’s current standing on the blog so you can see where you stand before the final night.
