The theme of this week's CSBJ is Sports Brings Money into this city.

So, in honor of the theme, the USOC has it's quarterly meeting of the Board of Directors in...drum roll, please...Atlanta, GA. Practically a suburb of Colorado Springs. Thank you Bill Hybl for this. And now we are going to get reamed with the cost of upgrading the sweaty ol sports facilities. Guess who is going to get to pay for that? And pay for the 2.5 billion dollar water pipeline? And pay for the underfunding of public employee luxury retirement packages? Any bets on how long it is going to take to bankrupt most city residents with runaway water bills, and runaway sports bills, and runaway pension packages?
