Coldwell Banker report: CS one of the most affordable housing markets in state

Colorado Springs has the fourth most affordable housing market in the state, according to a new report from Coldwell Banker Real Estate. With an average home listing price of $222,936 for a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house, Colorado Springs ranked just above Montrose, Alamosa and Pueblo for affordability, according to the report. Colorado not among top foreclosure states

While Colorado followed national foreclosure trends, the state did not rank among the areas with the most foreclosure activity. Real estate tracking firm RealtyTrac found that new nationwide foreclosure filings  dropped 33 percent from May, 2010 to  May of this year and 2 percent from April to May.
