A children’s dental and vision company bought a large piece of real estate downtown last week.

Hero Management, which owns Adventure Children’s Dental & Vision, purchased a 13,400-square-foot building at 15 N. Nevada, said Randy Dowis, the broker at NAI Highland Commercial Group who handled the deal.

The building was originally listed at $1.49 million and was reduced to $1.38 million in October, Dowis said. It sold for $1.1 million.

The building was a foreclosure property owned by First Bank.

Rich Otterstetter at Crosby Real Estate Group in Denver brokered the deal for Hero management. The building title was issued to the company’s owner Dr. Ron Montano. He could not be reached Wednesday morning.

Dowis said the company has a business office on Academy Boulevard and will move its administrative business to the new office building downtown.
