Colorado Springs home prices fell in October, according to a report from real estate analytics firm CoreLogic.
Home prices, including distressed properties, fell 2 percent from October 2010, and fell 1.1 percent year-over-year in September, according to the report.
Excluding distressed sales, home sales prices rose 0.5 percent year-over-year in October and 0.2 percent in September.
That’s in line with national trends where prices, excluding distressed sales, fell by the same percentage year-over-year for October. However, Colorado Springs fared better than the national average when distressed properties are factored into the equation. Nationally, home prices fell an average of 3.9 percent year-over-year.
