Keller Homes announced this week that it will release two new villa designs for its Pine Creek and Peregrine developments.
It will break ground at the end of January on its first Villa Castello in its La Bellezza Villa neighborhood of Pine Creek, said Keller Homes marketing manager Sharon Curdy. The Villa Luca model will break ground four to six weeks later.
The new villa designs will be added to the five home styles the builder already offers in those neighborhoods, Curdy said.
“We decided that we needed to answer the needs and desires of home-buyers in creating something a little smaller in square footage,” she said.
The villas will be about 3,400 square feet, which fits in with the rest of Keller’s lineup in Pine Creek, which Curdy said ranges from 2,800 to 4,600 square feet, not including the standard courtyards and other lifestyle spaces.
Keller began building in Pine Creek and Peregrine, neighborhoods on the north end of the city, in 2004 and 2005.
“We certainly have felt the effects of this market,” she said. “But last year, we really enjoyed new interest from people who were loving the low maintenance options.”
The builder has 12 to 14 home sites remaining in both Pine Creek and Peregrine, Curdy said. They started with about 40 in each neighborhood.
While the homes haven’t been commissioned by future buyers; they will not be models. They will be available for purchase right away.
