Investors bought seven of the 18 properties that sold in the El Paso County Public Trustee’s foreclosure auction on Wednesday, March 7.

Ed Kline and Don Kline paid $90,100 for a 1,050-square foot split-level home built in 1969 at 1318 Shenandoah Dr. (80910). That was well over lender Wells Fargo Bank’s initial bid of $83,724. Daniel and Jacqueline Duckworth borrowed $137,595 on the home in September of 2005. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the market value at $121,560.

Sami Halaseh paid $90,550 for a 1,114-square foot split-level home built in 1973 at 7276 Shawnee Way (80915). That was significantly higher than lender PNC Bank’s initial bid of $61,341.02. John and Louseen Halaseh borrowed $84,000 on the property in December of 2001. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the market value of the home at $128,770.

Na Zhai paid $30,150 for an 892-square foot condominium built in 1974 at 3250 Van Telyinger Dr. Apt. C (80917). That was just $50 over lender Goldman Sachs’ initial bid. Colleen Strickland borrowed $74,722.96 on the property in November of 2003. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the value of the home at $70,613.

Access Financial Group paid $63,000 for an 894-square foot ranch home built in 1954 at 1101 Norwood Ave. That was slightly over lender Deutche Bank’s initial bid of $58,500. Earle Quigley borrowed $97,600 on the home in April of 2005. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the market value of the home at $99,478.

VG Holdings paid $73,390.98 for 924-square foot ranch home built in 1967 at 4036 Tennyson Ave. (80910). That was just $50 over First Horizon Home Loans’ initial bid. Dennis and Wanda Herrera borrowed $89,675 on the property in August of 1996. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the market value of the home at $120,600.

Hugo Macias paid $129,336.40 for a 1,840-square foot split-level home built in 1948 at 604 Prospect Lake Dr. (80910). That was just $50 over what lender Melicendro Abeyta’s initial bid. Dana Souligny borrowed $115,000 on the home, which is owned by the Bebo family irrevocable trust, in September of 2009. The El Paso County Assessor.

Ed Kline and Don Kline paid $57,050 for a 931-square foot ranch home built in 1971 at 3650 Ironwood Pl. (80910). That was just $50 over lender Onewest Bank’s initial bid. Tanya and Eufilia Gallegos borrowed $175,500 on the property in September of 2006. The El Paso County Assessor estimates that the market value is $112,822.
