Investors bought three of the 31 properties that sold in the El Paso County Public Trustee’s foreclosure auction Wednesday. The others sold back to the lenders.
City Light Homes paid $122,534.95 for a 2,408-square-foot bi-level home built in 1982 at 5565 Trout Creek Pass Dr. (80917). That was just $50 higher than lender CitiMortgage’s initial bid. Julie Bettencourt Cliff borrowed $153,000 for the home in July of 2003. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the value of the home at $180,559.
City Light Homes paid $158,700 for a 1,293-square-foot ranch home built in 1999 at 1030 Scarlet Oak (80906). That was $50 more than the lender’s, Secretary of Veterans Affairs, initial bid. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the value of the home at $201,770.
The David L. and Leslie R. Brown Family Trust paid $158,700 for a 1,465-square-foot townhome built in 1981 at 23 Woodbridge Dr. (80906). That was just $50 more than lender Deutsche Bank’s initial bid. Donna J. Bullock borrowed $168,200 on the home in May of 2006. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the market value of the home at $264,930.
