Investors bought three of the 20 properties that sold in the El Paso County Public Trustee’s foreclosure auction Wednesday. The other 17 properties sold to the lenders.
Jodi Pinell paid $133,050 for a 1,518-square-foot ranch home built in 1956 at 1202 Morning Star Dr. (80906). That was just $50 more than lender Wells Fargo Bank’s initial bid. Sean S. Dunn borrowed $167,325 on the home in June of 2004. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the home’s market value at $199,643.
Single Track Properties paid $58,800 for a 821-square-foot split-level home built in 1969 at 1545 Prado Dr. in Fountain (80817). That was almost $600 more than lender Wells Fargo’s initial bid. Diane Evans borrowed $107,094 on the home in June of 2003. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the home’s value at $106,200.
Ted T. Link paid $680,050 for a 3,822-square-foot ranch home built in 1976 at 22 Sea Hero Terrace (80906). That was just $50 more than lender Bank of America’s initial bid. Mario and Heather Barbish borrowed $999,950 on the home in April of 2004. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the market value of the property at a little more than $1 million.
