The number of homes listed for sale on the Multiple Listing Service is down year-over-year in Colorado Springs and other metro areas throughout the state.
The National Association of Realtors released data earlier this week that shows a 19.22 percent decline in the number of home listings between June 2011 and June 2012.
There were 4,101 listings. Denver had 8,296 listings.
That drop in available inventory accompanies a bump in median sales price. Home sales prices in Colorado Springs climbed 4.59 percent year-over-year in June to $230,000, according Nar data.
The median age of listings on the MLS also fell to 66 days, according to the NAR.
