Investors bought four of the 36 properties that sold in the El Paso County Public Trustee’s foreclosure sale Wednesday, Oct. 17. The remaining properties sold back to the lenders.
Christi Lehouillier paid $73,500 for a 1,664-square-foot bi-level house built in 1971 at 206 E. Missouri Ave. (Fountain, 80817).That was more than lender Citi Financial’s initial bid of $73,050.14. Dennis and Maria Bolduc borrowed $132,312.07 on the property in September 2007. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the market value of the house at $117,894.
City Lights Homes paid $122,000 for a 1,130-square-foot split-level home built in 1966 at 1129 Moffatt Cir. (80915). That was more than lender US Bank’s initial bid of $112,500. Paul Kalan borrowed $152,600 on the property in December 2005. The El Paso County Assessor estimate’s the property’s market value at $163,397.
Kairos Ventures paid $128,749.80 for a 1,354-square-foot two-story house built in 2003 at 7607 Fiona (Fountain, 80817). That was $50 more than lender Wells Fargo’s initial bid. Shawn and Rebecca Janow borrowed $178,750 on the property in October 2009. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the market value at $163,940.
Rocky Mountain Metropolitan paid $82,600 for a 1,728-square-foot bi-level home built in 1970 at 2102 Fernwood Drive (80910). That was more than lender Bank of America’s initial bid of $76,431.35. Richard and Marcia Snowden borrowed $83,200 on the property in May 2003. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the market value is $123,040.
