Investors bought two of the 40 properties that sold in the El Paso County Trustee’s foreclosure sale Nov. 21. The rest sold back to the lenders.
David Stratton and Stanley Kline paid $113,738 for a 1,620 two-story home built in 1989 at 9108 Chieftan Drive (80925). That was $50 more than lender Wells Fargo’s initial bid. Jeffrey Lawrence borrowed $183,439 on the property in October 2011. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the property’s market value is $174,410.
Go Real Estate Development paid $127,397.85 for a 1,401-square-foot two-story home built in 2001 at 8144 Bohleen Rd. (Peyton, 80831). That was $50 more than lender Bank of America’s initial bid. Jeremiah Peoples borrowed $188,875 on the property in December of 2007. The El Paso County Assessor estimates the market value at $179,953.
