USOC’s Backyard Games campaign raises $4 million

In its second year, the U.S. Olympic Committee’s “America Supports Team USA” initiative brought in $4 million in donations. This year’s promotion, the “Backyard Games” campaign, began May 31 and concluded July 31.  Participants representing more than 5,000 cities upped this year’s average donation level from $29 last year to $31.
