Customer care giant Alorica buys PRC

One of Colorado Springs’ largest call center operators, Florida-based PRC, LLC, has become a subsidiary of Alorica Inc. The business sale transaction closed on July 30, 2010. That makes Alorica the country’s largest customer contact operator with almost 20,000 employees in 34 locations throughout the country. In Colorado Springs the company employs about 400 people. MedData adding 25 jobs to Springs (access required)

Emergency medicine billing and management services provider MedData is adding 25 jobs to its Colorado Springs office. The additions come as a result of the cancellation of an outsourced call center in India.
