Everest College, a private, higher-education company with campuses nationwide, could employ 500 or more people at the former Intel plant in Colorado Springs. Saunders leaving Chamber of Commerce

Joan Saunders, the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce chief operating and financial officer since 2007, has accepted a job as CEO of Pet Care Services Association, a Colorado Springs-based nonprofit organization. Her departure will be effective July 20. Chamber representatives said they have already begun receiving applications for Saunder’s job.
