Young Professionals donate toys

The Colorado Springs Young Professionals collected dozens of toys during its annual toy drive Thursday night at McCabe’s Tavern. The Colorado Springs Young Professionals have collected toys for the last seven years and always donate them to Christmas Unlimited. Founded in 1923, Christmas Unlimited is one of the oldest nonprofits in Colorado.

Maybe it’s the season, but someone’s chopping down trees in city parks and taking them. City officials say a blue spruce has been stolen from Ash Grove Park in southeast Denver.
