USAA rating affirmed
Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed the financial strength rating of Aaa (exceptional, highest of 21 possible ratings) of USAA’s Property and Casualty Insurance Group, and Aa1 (excellent, second highest of 21 possible ratings) for its life insurance company.
USAA is the only property and casualty insurer rated Aaa by Moody’s.

The Colorado State Forest Service is accepting applications for the 2010 Wildland-Urban Interface Competitive Grant Program.

Family Violence Justice Fund grants available
The Colorado Judicial Branch has opened the application process for up to $750,000 in fiscal year 2010 grants from the Family Violence Justice Fund.
The money pays for programs that provide civil legal services to indigent victims of family violence.
