Denver doctor to launch medical tourism group in Barbados

A Denver doctor has signed an agreement with Barbados to build a surgical center and hospital on the island nation, in hopes of attracting medical tourists. Robert F. New certification program aims to curb hospital errors (access required)

Regis University will launch a Patient Quality and Safety certification this fall. The certificate is designed to help train hospital staff to identify risk and prevent medication errors.
