Seasonal hiring to top 600,000
This year’s seasonal employment is expected to exceed 600,000 for the first time since 2007, according to outplacement firm Challenger Gray & Christmas. Kohl’s Department Stores said this week that it plans to hire 40,000 seasonal workers for the holidays. The company, which has three stores in Colorado Springs, plans to hire an average of 35 workers for each of its 1,089 U.S. stores in addition to 2,200 workers at its distribution centers and 60 workers at its credit [...]
