Unemployment down in Springs – but still higher than state, nation

Colorado Springs had an unemployment rate of 9 percent in December, according to the latest figures from the Division of Labor and Employment. Jobs in Colorado increased by8,800 in October to more than 2.2 million, according to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.
